Care for those who need it most.
Are you looking to take the next step in your Aged Care career?
The aged care sector is continuing to grow and jobs are in high demand. The industry needs passionate, empathetic people who want to make a real difference in people’s lives and the lives of their families.
Aged Care is more than just a job, it is a vocation and a commitment to care, love, nurture and enrich the lives of our ageing population.
The CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support aims to build upon existing skills and knowledge students would already hold, delivering core skills and knowledge in providing specialised care to the elderly. The certificate reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks in the aged care sector, including residential, home or community environments.
Workers will take responsibility for their outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.
At the Certificate IV level, workers are required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs.
