CPCWHS1001
Housing, commercial property, services, and national infrastructure are all constructed within secured, high-risk sites. These construction sites are essential to protect workers and the public during the construction phase and can be extremely dangerous, with the potential to cause serious injury or worse.
Our CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry course instils workers with the practical skills and knowledge needed to identify and understand health and safety requirements and work safely.
The course is aimed at all workers undertaking construction work, including self-employed persons, labourers, apprentices, trades-persons, supervisors and project managers.
Students will learn the basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry as well as information about preventing workplace injury and illness, workplace injury management and workers compensation.
